You receive a call at your extension, and the caller needs to speak with someone else in the office.
Just follow these steps to transfer:
- With the caller on the line, press the hash key (#) and enter the 3-digit extension they need.
- You can then hang up.
- You will hear a “line engaged” signal if you stay on the phone which only signifies the call has been released to its destination.
Please note with BudgeTone phones you can only transfer UNATTENDED (blind) at this time, which means the call is released to the destination phone rather than you speaking with the person at the dialed extension before the call is released.
